Dr. Nina Powell is Associate Professor of Psychology at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where she also serves as Director of Undergraduate Studies in Psychology and Associate Director at the Centre for Development of Teaching and Learning.

Her research lies at the intersection of moral psychology, human agency, and the ethics of emerging technologies, with a particular focus on moral judgment, responsibility, autonomy, and human–AI interaction. Her recent work examines how artificial intelligence is reshaping human reasoning, decision-making, education, and professional practice — exploring questions of agency, care, and moral responsibility in AI-mediated environments.

Alongside her research, Dr. Powell is actively involved in educational innovation and curriculum development, having led initiatives relating to peer review of teaching, interdisciplinary education, formative assessment, and the responsible integration of AI into higher education. A Fellow of the NUS Teaching Academy, she is committed to advancing human-centred approaches to both education and technology.

Dr. Yoshihiro Tochino, MD, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Education and General Practice, Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka Metropolitan University, Japan.

He graduated from Osaka City University School of Medicine in 1997 and received his PhD from the Graduate School of Medicine at Osaka City University in 2008. He subsequently served as a researcher at the Asthma and Allergic Disease Center, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, USA. After returning to Japan, he was appointed Assistant Professor in Respiratory Medicine in 2010, joined the Department of Medical Education and General Practice in 2014, and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2020.

Dr. Tochino is actively involved in medical education and assessment at the national level in Japan through the Common Achievement Tests Organization. His roles include Vice-Chairperson of the Subcommittee on Certified Standardized Patients, alongside committee memberships in medical OSCE management, assessor accreditation, and system development. He is a Certified Medical Education Specialist of the Japan Society for Medical Education, a Fellow of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, and a Senior Fellow of both the Japanese Respiratory Society and the Japanese Society of Allergology.

Associate Professor Dr Christina Liew is a medical educator, simulation-based medical education specialist, and academic leader with 18 years of experience in health professions education, simulation-based learning, quality assurance, and curriculum innovation. She is a Fellow of FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research), International FAIMER Institute, a division of Intealth, based in Philadelphia, USA.

She currently serves as Associate Professor of simulation-based education and Director for Accreditation and Quality Assurance at Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University, Malaysia. Previously she was Program Director for the MD Program and Director of Simulation Education at VinUniversity, and Director of the Simulation Centre at Perdana-RCSI Malaysia Campus.

Recognized for her expertise in medical simulation education, Dr Liew has extensive experience in high-fidelity simulation, simulated patient programs, communication skills training, and workplace-based assessment, with a focus on psychologically safe learning environments. Her current scholarly work explores the integration of AI-enhanced feedback systems, digital learning environments, and technology-enabled simulation to improve learner engagement and assessment quality.

Giselle is a physician with specialty training in Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the Philippine College of Physicians. She has been a full-time faculty member of the College of Medicine of Davao Medical School Foundation Inc. for more than 10 years.

She is a lecturer in the Department of Physiology, serves as coordinator of the Department of Internal Medicine, and is head of the Faculty Committee of the College of Medicine. She has been a core faculty member of the DMSFI Center for Health Care Simulation (COMCHECS) since its establishment in 2015.

In 2017, she founded the DMSFI Standardized Patient Program and has served as its head ever since. Her work includes case writing and the development of clinical scenarios for simulation-based learning using high-fidelity manikins, as well as writing cases for standardized patient encounters and training SPs — with a special interest in moulage. Her fields of interest include medical simulation, teaching innovations, and assessment.
